TIAT MONTHLY UPDATE
September 2022

Greetings,

I am Samuel Butler, CEO of Take It Away Tom!. Last month we successfully created some new partnerships with Pacific Financial Association, Inc. and Plan Writers. Testing of the initial integration of TAFS was successful. While we still have a lot of work to do on the overall website and platform, we are making great progress.

We have continued the process of becoming a Department of Defense Contractor and we are now in the queue for processing. We have submitted all documents and it appears that we will be accepted as a contractor without complications. As I am an ARMY Veteran, TIAT has opted into receiving the Veteran Owned Business Endorsement. Sad to say, it looks like there will be complications in receiving this endorsement, but we will be doing what we can to make this possible.

This month, we will be looking into the requirements of becoming a Customs Broker, while finishing our DoD Contractor application process. I am delighted to say the TIAT is now in full compliance with the law, and that we can now apply more focus to the development of TIAT’s logistics platform.

Over the past few months, we have not been able to disclose the direction of the platform as it had yet to be determined. We have had time to discuss the functionality of the site and how we can stand apart for our users. The current task we all have is to complete the development of the web platform so that we can bring it to market.

While we will designate a small team to the front pages of our site, the focus of the overall team with be the functionality of the back-end programing. We would love to give you a date you can expect our launch, but with all the functions we are building into the platform, we cannot currently give a definitive date for launch. We do know we should be launching some time at the beginning of next year.

Let’s talk about what you can expect from the platform. First, one thing we noticed is that companies have too many individual services they must pay for, including employment and accounting applications and employee management applications for timecards and payroll benefits.

For Carriers, additional costly services include drivers logs, analytics platforms, routing, GPS platforms strictly for truckers, GPS tracking software for the Carrier’s vehicles, Qualcomm’s, other services to communicate with drivers, and maintenance applications, to name a few.  This list is far from exhaustive.  Or you can spend $500,000 and build your own. If you don’t want to do that, you are stuck paying various vendors for these supportive applications and services.

For Shippers, you must pay for or build logistics platforms, platforms to manage your inventory, platforms to sell your inventory, and platforms that can manage all your documents and payments. Your list can go on too.

For Brokers, it really depends on your level of commitment to those you serve. TIAT serves the logistics and transportation community. We opted into the commitment of building a complete user platform for everyone and providing all the billable products for free. Yes, we are going to have to charge a transaction fee and it will take us a while to add all the services to the platform. With the support of our users, lenders, and investors we will be able to provide our users with a full-service product.  Our research shows that we can save our users on average 12-24% instantly.

As always, I enjoy telling you about our progress and can’t wait until the next time I can provide you with updates.
