TIAT MONTHLY UPDATE
June 2022

Greetings,

I am Samuel Butler CEO of Take It Away Tom!. Last month we made significant progress with properly forming TIAT. As of last month’s update, we were awaiting the results of an onslaught of research studies to determine the future of the Company.

The reports have come back, and with great remorse, TIAT will be permanently discontinue trash haul away services.

The evaluation came back that as a carrier with our current level of investment capital, TIAT would acquire more debt than gains. With inflation, rising gas prices, the immediate loss of resale value of equipment purchased, and new undetermined regulations aimed at the transportation industry, TIAT cannot in clear conscience pursue being a carrier in any capacity.

TIAT will, on the other hand, maintain and grow its presence in the transportation industry as a licensed Transportation Broker, Freight Forwarder, and Customs Broker. TIAT will be redirecting its efforts from being a carrier to a supporting agent of carriers, shippers, and brokers.

In order to fully accommodate this Company action, TIAT will be redirecting its function to become a software company, providing a web/app-based platform to connect shippers, brokers, and carriers. We understand that there has been an influx of transportation brokers entering the industry. There are also a lot of dispatching companies out there that are not licensed brokers or dispatchers.

What we discovered is that many companies out there providing load boards do not regulate their users. Instead, they charge monthly subscriptions to access the load boards while allowing basically anyone on the load boards to do whatever they want. This in turns leads to double brokering and fraud perpetrated in other company’s names.

While the DOT and the FMCSA are cracking down on fraudulent companies, many current load boards are not contributing to the solution of fighting fraud, so that they may access more users. Most of the fraud being committed is being committed by people in other countries directed at U.S. companies and citizens.

The transportation industry has become the Wild West for fraudsters. Which makes this a bad arena to operate in. I am happy to say I do not turn away from a challenge, and with every problem is a solution. Which leads us to: What is TIAT working on?

In this last month we have determined that TIAT will be pursuing a future as a transportation broker/software company. Over the next few months, we will be working on the development and direction of the platform. We will be researching the top name competitors, and we will be determining what function we can provide that can set our platform apart. We fully understand if we can help combat fraud, we can gain the trust of our users.

Our current company goals are to start the development of our transportation brokerage platform, to obtain our DOT Authority as a transportation broker/freight forwarder, to obtain our Motor Carrier Number, to obtain our company insurance and bonding, and to conduct a full research study to help give overall direction for the development of the TIAT platform.

As always, we look forward to providing you with our next company update.
